leavin’ on a jet plane
We are packed and ready to come home! We leave for the airport in about an hour and will arrive home around 10:30pm tonight. We have mixed feelings about leaving. Sad to be leaving our daughters birth-country, happy to be going home so she can meet everyone and start our new lives together. We are pretty sure we will be back soon to visit so that makes it a lot easier. We are so in love with P, even if she doesn’t appreciate the fine art of sitting still quite yet. Wish us luck on the 18 hours of plane rides ahead of us today!

good luck guys. i think all of us who have adopted from vietnam can appreciate being torn abt leaving/staying. but, let me tell you, it is pretty amazing to just start your life with little one. after suffering so long with the travel wait, it is amazing to just BE! the adventure has just begun!

Yeah! I am so excited for you guys! Hope the flight goes by quick. I can’t wait to meet her. I know your hearts must be filled with so much joy and love right now. Hold on tight to that feeling on that long flight. LOL
If you ever need a sitter (know you won’t be in a hurry to leave her) give me a call!!
