a little yard work

Yesterday we did a little yard work and planting.  I know it’s late in the season for planting, but better late than never, right?  It feels like we are just now finally getting adjusted and are finding our ‘groove’ as a family.  Although everything has been great with Piper, it still seems to be taking a while to start being productive after such a big change in our lives.

[Such a good girl playing with her toys.  She is fabulous at entertaining herself – we are very lucky!]

So I just realized you’ve updated your blog. Holy Cow Nicole!!!! Piper is amazing. She is beautiful. I love her little piggy-tails! She looks like she’s adjusting well, and you seem to have fit straight into motherhood with full shining glory! I hope you had a wonderful Mother’s Day, and your husband a great Father’s Day too! Keep blogging and don’t let it lapse! (I know, easier said…)
